Cup Workshops
Here at Monmouth, we live and breathe the Art of Glass, and love sharing the knowledge of our creative practice. Starting in 2021, our first cup making experience was offered to the public and we continue to offer workshops regularly.
Make You Own Cup
Our 2-hour cup making experience is the perfect beginner introduction to glassblowing for those those who are new to the art of glass and have never experienced the creative process of making in a hot shop. Guided by one of our most experienced glass blowers, you will learn about basic glass blowing techniques, then put them to practice by making a cup of your own to take home.
Each beginner class holds a maximum of 4 participants, ensuring each attendee gets ample one on one assistance from the instructor. For corporate events or larger groups of 4 to 12 people who would like to attend together, please email info@monmouth.glass Directly to arrange a private booking.
Monmouth are in the process of setting up and running an advanced glass blowing course in the near future. If this is something you are interested in, please email us directly.
Cup workshops are held on Saturdays between 10am -12pm, and 1pm – 3pm, at Suite A4, 35 keeling road, Henderson, Auckland. Selected dates only.
Due to limited availability per workshop, classes are non-refundable. However, if you are unable to attend your workshop, we are happy to reschedule no later than 72 hours prior to your class date.
