Commissions

Whether it’s a bespoke cluster of pendants for a private home, or a large-scale installation for a hospitality space, we love developing innovative lighting solutions for special projects.

We regularly collaborate with architects, interior designers and homeowners to create bespoke glass lighting and objects. We’ve realised large-scale lighting installations for The Northern Club, Williams Eatery, Ortolana, Ki Māha, and many more. We’ve also made bespoke tablewares for Hello Beasty, Orphans Kitchen and Kingi, vases for Hotel Britomart, and custom honey pots for the Comvita Wellness Lab.

Flock Hill

Flockhillnz.com

A luxury homestead which sits proudly yet peacefully high amongst the rugged natural beauty of the southern alps. A mere hour and a half drive from Christchurch, a stay at Flock Hill is a remarkable experience for even the most well-travelled. A revelation into the sheer magnificence of New Zealand’s untouched landscapes and a silent witness to life in the majestic alps.

The organic dome pendants installed within this breath-taking build were inspired by the surrounding natural environment, aligning with the stations’ vision of uniting humans and nature together.

Ki Māha

Ki Māha is a seafood restaurant on beautiful Onetangi Beach on Waiheke Island, Aotearoa New Zealand. For this special commission we designed a series of chandeliers in bright and airy Steel Blue – a marine colour that brings the ocean inside. The purposefully organic forms echo Ki Māha’s focus on the natural environment.

The Northern Club

The Northern Club is a historic Auckland building, and we were delighted to work with Cheshire Architects on their concept for a large-scale bespoke installation. The lighting for the Bankside Bar and Lounge area features over 100 mould-blown glass lamps to stunning effect. Photography by Samuel Hartnett.

Williams
Eatery

williamseatery.co.nz

William’s Eatery is one of our favourite spots in Tāmaki Makaurau. They wanted their lighting to match the refined yet simple luxury of their space and menu, so we made them a range of single drop Square Domes in Eel Green glass, as well as a cluster of Globes (also in Eel Green) on a modern curved steel armature.

Ortolana is an exquisite eatery, bringing a warm gentle energy to the heart of Britomart. Working with the talented Switch Lighting on this commission, the numerous small glass domes bring elegance, sophistication, and a touch of magic to the dining experience, creating the feeling of being nestled under fairy lights as evening falls to night.
